What is a full time RPO recruiter?

Full Time RPO (Recruitment Process Outsourcing) Recruiters are professionals who manage and execute hiring processes on behalf of a client company, working as part of an outsourcing agreement. Unlike traditional recruiters who may work for an agency or directly for a company, RPO recruiters are typically embedded within the client's organization and handle all or part of the recruitment cycle full time. Their responsibilities include sourcing candidates, screening resumes, conducting interviews, and coordinating with hiring managers to fill open positions efficiently. This model allows companies to scale their hiring efforts, leverage recruiting expertise, and improve time-to-hire while focusing on their core business operations.

What are some typical challenges faced by a full time RPO recruiter, and how can they effectively manage high-volume hiring demands?

Full Time RPO (Recruitment Process Outsourcing) Recruiters often face the challenge of managing multiple requisitions across various clients or departments, especially during peak hiring periods. Balancing high-volume hiring with the need to maintain a quality candidate experience requires strong organizational skills and proactive communication. Leveraging recruitment technology, prioritizing roles based on urgency, and collaborating closely with hiring managers can help streamline processes and ensure successful placements. Regular check-ins with the client and adaptability to shifting priorities are also essential for thriving in this fast-paced environment.

What are the key skills and qualifications needed to thrive as a full time RPO recruiter, and why are they important?

To thrive as a Full Time RPO Recruiter, you need a solid understanding of full-cycle recruitment, talent sourcing, and employment laws, usually supported by experience in recruiting or human resources. Familiarity with applicant tracking systems (ATS), recruitment CRMs, and sourcing tools like LinkedIn Recruiter is typically required. Excellent communication, relationship-building, and organizational skills help you stand out in managing candidates and collaborating with clients. These abilities are vital for efficiently meeting hiring goals, ensuring compliance, and delivering a positive recruitment experience.

Job description

RPO Account Executive

Location: Windham, NH / Hybrid or Remote
Company: Precision Talent Group
Department: Sales & Business Development
Employment Type: Full-Time
Reports To: VP of Sales / Executive Leadership

Position Summary

Precision Talent Group is seeking a highly motivated, consultative RPO Account Executive to drive new business growth and expand strategic client partnerships across our Recruitment Process Outsourcing (RPO), staffing, and talent solutions.

The RPO Account Executive will be responsible for identifying, developing, and closing new RPO opportunities with organizations seeking to improve their talent acquisition capabilities, increase recruiting capacity, reduce time-to-fill, and scale their workforce efficiently.

This is a hunter/relationship-builder role requiring a strong understanding of staffing, recruitment, talent acquisition, and consultative solution selling. The successful candidate will be comfortable engaging senior HR, Talent Acquisition, Operations, and business leaders and positioning Precision Talent Group as a strategic workforce partner rather than simply a staffing vendor.

Key Responsibilities

New Business Development

  • Develop and execute a territory and account strategy focused on acquiring new RPO clients.
  • Prospect into organizations with significant hiring volumes, recruiting challenges, talent shortages, or plans for rapid growth.
  • Build relationships with CHROs, Chief People Officers, VPs/Directors of Talent Acquisition, HR leaders, Procurement, and business executives.
  • Generate opportunities through cold calling, email outreach, networking, referrals, industry events, LinkedIn, and existing relationships.
  • Conduct discovery meetings to identify client workforce challenges, hiring volumes, recruiting processes, and business objectives.
  • Develop compelling value propositions demonstrating the financial and operational benefits of RPO.
  • Manage the complete sales cycle from prospecting and discovery through proposal, negotiation, and contract execution.
  • Maintain accurate pipeline activity, forecasting, and account information within the CRM.

RPO Solution Selling

  • Consult with prospective clients to determine whether full RPO, partial RPO, project-based RPO, or recruiting augmentation is the appropriate solution.
  • Partner with internal recruiting and operational teams to develop customized RPO solutions.
  • Create and deliver client presentations, proposals, statements of work, and business cases.
  • Position Precision Talent Group's ability to provide scalable, flexible, and measurable recruiting solutions.
  • Demonstrate how RPO can improve recruiting capacity, fill ratios, quality of hire, time-to-fill, and overall hiring efficiency.
  • Identify opportunities to expand RPO engagements into contract staffing, permanent placement, executive search, consulting, and workforce solutions.

Account Management & Growth

  • Develop trusted, long-term relationships with RPO clients and serve as a strategic business partner.
  • Conduct regular business reviews with clients and identify opportunities for continuous improvement.
  • Monitor client satisfaction, recruiting performance, hiring metrics, and overall account health.
  • Identify opportunities to expand the scope, headcount, or services associated with existing RPO engagements.
  • Work closely with recruiting leadership to ensure client expectations and service-level commitments are met.
  • Resolve escalated client issues and coordinate appropriate internal resources.

Qualifications

  • 3+ years of experience in staffing, recruiting, RPO, professional services, workforce solutions, or B2B sales.
  • Demonstrated success generating new business and closing complex sales.
  • Experience selling staffing or talent acquisition solutions to HR, Talent Acquisition, or executive-level decision makers.
  • Strong understanding of recruiting processes, staffing models, and talent acquisition challenges.
  • Experience with consultative selling and solution-based sales methodologies.
  • Proven ability to prospect, build a pipeline, conduct discovery, negotiate, and close.
  • Strong presentation, communication, negotiation, and relationship-building skills.
  • Ability to understand a client's business challenges and translate them into a compelling workforce solution.
  • Experience using CRM systems and maintaining accurate sales forecasts.
  • Ability to work independently while collaborating effectively with recruiting and operational teams.
