Senior Contract Management Specialist

Company:

The Boeing Company is currently hiring a Senior Contract Management Specialist to join the VC25B program supporting the team in San Antonio, TX or Oklahoma City, OK.

The successful candidate will join the VC25B program team responsible for successfully driving the development and modification of the next generation of Presidential Aircraft! Candidates must exhibit strong leadership, organizational, and interpersonal skills and should be able to act independently through the challenges of a fast-paced, high visibility program.

Position Responsibilities:

  • Represents the company to customers, including United States Government (USG) and manages formal customer correspondence

  • Leads large-scale, cross-functional proposal development and contract negotiation efforts

  • Develops and maintains relationships and partnerships with customers, collaborators, peers, and partners

  • Leads, teaches and mentors other contracts representatives

  • Administers and interprets complex contracts and agreements during the entire acquisition and product lifecycle

  • Serves as external spokesperson for the organization on major contracts, policies, plans and objectives

  • Reviews and analyzes contractual terms and conditions, Performance Work Statements (PWS) and ground rules and assumptions

  • Analyzes relevant business risks and develops mitigation solutions for review and implementation

  • Develops transaction review and approval documentation, leads briefings/reviews and obtains required approvals from senior level management

BasicQualifications (Required Skills/Experience):

  • Bachelor's degree or higher

  • 5+ years of experience with procurement in a defense and/or government environment

  • 5+ years of experience building, developing, and maintaining customer relationships

Preferred Qualifications (Desired Skills/Experience):

  • 10+ years of related work experience or an equivalent combination of education and experience

  • 3+ years of experience with complex proposal development and contract administration

  • 3+ years of experience working with U.S. Department of Defense contracts

  • Experience with Commercial Item Transfer at Price (CITAP) and Commercial Item Determination (CID)

  • Strong presentation skills and the ability to effectively communicate data in Senior Leadership briefings

  • Experience in contract administration, negotiations and proposal development

  • Bachelor's degree or higher in accounting, finance, business or a related field
