And the job of creating better internet is never done - so we're growing! Our team is committed to building a place where people who want to make a difference can grow their careers and find their spot to belong.
GFiber is an Alphabet company that brings Google Fiber and Google Fiber Webpass internet services to homes and businesses across the United States. Our teams are expanding as we connect more cities and people to exceptional internet.

The application window will be open until at least June 8, 2026. This opportunity will remain online based on business needs which may be before or after the specified date.

This role is not eligible for immigration sponsorship.

The Sales Academy sits at the heart of our company's growth engine. We are the team responsible for equipping, training, and empowering one of the largest and most dynamic organizations in the company to succeed. By designing world-class onboarding, continuous learning paths, and high-impact training content, we directly influence revenue readiness and ensure our sales teams can rapidly hit their targets. We pride ourselves on being an agile, collaborative, and high-impact group where your work directly shapes the employee experience and moves the needle on company goals from day one.

Role Description

As a Learning & Development Specialist, you will support the design, deployment, operations, and maintenance of comprehensive training programs for residential and business-facing sales channels throughout the organization. You will report to the Head of Sales Academy and flex within the learning organization to meet the needs of the business, plugging into areas where training needs are critical—such as new hire onboarding and major product rollouts—and then rapidly moving onto new areas of need as our sales strategy evolves. Your ability to build strong cross-functional relationships and manage a diverse network of external vendors is a must.

You have a passion for being on-the-ground, executing complex educational projects that improve sales readiness, rep confidence, and overall performance across the company. It will require substantial knowledge of instructional design, top-tier facilitation skills, and a willingness to learn much more about our sales channels. A versatile skill set, a flexible approach, and a willingness to learn and adapt to new challenges as the role evolves and changes is critical.

In this role, you'll:

  • Lead the end-to-end delivery and execution of all Sales New Hire training and onboarding programs.
  • Facilitate high-impact training sessions (virtual and in-person) that drive engagement, skill retention, and behavioral change.
  • Act as the primary point of contact for new hires and regional sales leaders to ensure training alignment with channel-specific goals.
  • Design, develop, and maintain cutting-edge sales training content, playbooks, e-learning modules, and performance support tools.
  • Manage, coordinate, and schedule our network of external vendors and contract facilitators.

At a minimum we'd like you to have:

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience.
  • 4 years of experience in corporate training, instructional design, or talent enablement, ideally supporting a Sales or Revenue organization.
  • Proven ability to build comprehensive learning tracks from scratch using modern adult learning theories (ADDIE, SAM, etc.).

It's preferred if you have:

  • Presentation and presentation-delivery skills, with the ability to command a room and navigate complex Q&A seamlessly.
  • Experience sourcing, onboarding, scheduling, and managing the quality/output of third-party vendors or contract facilitators.
  • Experience working in a fast-paced environment where business objectives and product lines shift rapidly.
  • Proficiency with modern LMS (Learning Management Systems), e-learning authoring tools (e.g., Articulate Storyline, Rise), and content management tools.

The US base salary range for this full-time position is between $102,400 - $ 151,400 + bonus + benefits. As pay varies by location, your recruiter will share more about the specific salary range for your targeted location during the hiring process.
