Job description

Work Arrangement

This is an onsite position.

Job Overview

This role is responsible for overseeing the end-to-end lifecycle of Contract Data Requirements List (CDRL) deliverables, ensuring all program data is accurately formatted, tracked, and submitted according to government or customer specifications. You will bridge the gap between internal functional teams and the customer to ensure 100% on-time delivery compliance.

Essential Functions

  • Develop and maintain CDRL/SDRL management standards, policies, and procedures across the business unit.
  • Manage the scheduling, preparation, and timely electronic submission of all CDRLs and SDRLs across multiple active programs.
  • Review technical documents for correct formatting, markings, and distribution statements in strict accordance with Data Item Descriptions (DIDs) and contract requirements.
  • Maintain integrated master schedules for data submissions and provide status reports to program leadership regarding upcoming milestones and potential delinquencies.
  • Correspond directly with Government customers to communicate requirements, schedules, and feedback.
  • Coordinate with engineering, finance, and project management to collect inputs and ensure technical content meets contractual obligations.
  • Review all outgoing documents to ensure they contain correct Distribution Statements, Export Control markings, security markings and proprietary data legends as required by DFARS and the contract.
  • Oversee the release of all outgoing submissions and incoming customer responses/approvals to maintain a complete audit trail.
  • Coordinate and flow down data requirements to subcontractors, ensuring their inputs are integrated into the prime contractor's submission schedules.
  • Perform other duties as required.

Qualifications and Competencies

  • Exceptional proficiency in Microsoft Office (specifically Word styles and Excel tracking) and Adobe Acrobat; high attention to detail for proofreading and formatting
  • Strong knowledge of MIL-STD-963 and the DD Form 1423 process, including familiarity with intellectual property and data rights clauses
  • Mastery of document control workflows and file management; this role requires a high degree of organizational discipline to manage dozens of concurrent deadlines.
  • Familiarity with Document Management Systems (SolidWorks PDM, Subversion, etc.) preferred.
  • Familiarity with Jira, SharePoint and other collaboration tools strongly preferred.

Education / Certifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Data Management, Project Management or related field

Experience

  • 3+ years in a Contract Data Management (CDM), Project Management or Configuration Management role within a government contracting environment.
  • Project management experience preferred.
