Senior Manager - Enterprise Data Management
JOB SUMMARY
As a Senior Manager, Enterprise Data Management, you are responsible for overseeing the full lifecycle of enterprise data and ensuring it is accurate, governed, secure, and accessible across the organization. You are a collaborative leader who thrives at the intersection of business and IT, translating data strategy into day-to-day execution that supports decision-making and operational efficiency.
You enjoy building strong partnerships with stakeholders, managing teams, and establishing standards that improve how data is captured, maintained, and used. You are motivated by creating order from complexity, enabling trusted data, and helping the organization scale through disciplined data management practices.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
  • Oversee enterprise data management operations, ensuring data quality, governance, security, and accessibility across business domains.
  • Lead and manage data-focused teams, providing direction, prioritization, and support to meet organizational goals.
  • Establish and enforce data standards, policies, procedures, and governance frameworks across critical data domains (e.g., customer, supplier, product).
  • Partner closely with business and IT stakeholders to understand data needs and translate them into actionable data management practices.
  • Drive initiatives to reduce redundant data entry, manual reconciliation, and inefficient data processes.
  • Monitor data health, quality metrics, and compliance, continuously identifying opportunities for improvement.

KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, AND ABILITIES
  • Hands-on experience implementing data governance frameworks, data quality standards, and stewardship models.
  • Strong understanding of enterprise data domains, master data management (MDM), and reference data concepts.
  • Experience managing teams and influencing cross-functional stakeholders in complex organizations.
  • Working knowledge of data platforms, databases, data integration tools, and analytics environments.
  • Excellent communication skills with the ability to balance technical concepts and business outcomes.

MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS
Education:
Bachelor's degree required
Experience:
7+ years of experience in enterprise data management, data governance, or a closely related role, with 10-15 years of overall IT experience.
