JOB OVERVIEW
Provide services and support as a Data Architect (Lakehouse / Warehousing) in the Government And Public Services Industry Sector focusing on HC | Human Capital Solutions for clients such as National Science Foundation (NSF | OCHCO / OCIO) | Office of the Chief Human Capital Officer (OCHCO) / Office of the Chief Information Officer (OCIO) Generally Located In Alexandria, VA (Hybrid) and across the Mid Atlantic Region (Of Country/World) Working Hybrid On/Off Client Site.
Deliver innovative solutions that improve operational efficiency through digital transformation and process automation; enhance data-driven decision-making using role-based advanced analytics and business intelligence; support regulatory compliance and adherence to federal human capital management policies; facilitate seamless integration of IT systems and workforce planning tools; optimize service delivery through performance-based outcomes and SLAs.
HR Tech Modernization: Integration and automation of HR workflows using enterprise software solutions, including ServiceNow and SAP NS2 SuccessFactors. Consultative expertise in determining the most appropriate data system architecture, such as data warehouses, data lakes, and data lake houses. Technical understanding of migrating data from the current data system architecture to the upgraded data system architecture. Familiarity with FEDRAMP compliant data architecture platform providers such as Databricks and Snowflake is desired.

Further, they Design and guide implementation of enterprise data architecture supporting HR modernization, including warehousing, lake, and Lakehouse patterns. Assess current-state data environments, define target-state models, support migration planning, and align architectural choices with reporting, analytics, interoperability, and compliance requirements.

Qualifications

Experience with federal data constraints and modern cloud data platforms preferred.
Education / Experience Requirements / Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in computer science, information systems, data engineering, or related field required; advanced degree or cloud/data certifications preferred. 8+ years of experience in data architecture, enterprise data design, and modernization planning, including structured and semi-structured data environments. Experience with federal data constraints and modern cloud data platforms preferred.
