Job description

The Gambling Clinic is seeking a detail-oriented and analytical Data Management Associate to support the collection, management, analysis, and reporting of clinical and research data. This position plays a critical role in ensuring the integrity and quality of client assessment data by coding intake assessments and follow-up evaluations, maintaining research databases, and preparing reports that inform clinical operations, research initiatives, and grant reporting.

The Data Management Associate will work closely with the Clinic Director and clinical staff to ensure data accuracy, compliance with research protocols, and timely reporting of program outcomes.

Master's degree in Education, Psychology, Sociology, or a closely related field. 

Applicants must be authorized to work in the U.S.  We are unable to sponsor or take over sponsorship of an employment visa at this time.

Code, review, and enter client intake assessments and follow-up evaluation data into secure databases.

Conduct quality assurance reviews to ensure completeness, consistency, and accuracy of clinical and research data.

Manage and maintain electronic databases while ensuring confidentiality and compliance with applicable privacy regulations.

Analyze client assessment and outcome data using descriptive statistics and other analytical techniques.

Prepare data summaries, dashboards, tables, and visualizations for internal decision-making.

Provide the Clinic Director with data for quarterly, annual, and grant-required reports.

Assist in monitoring program outcomes and identifying trends related to treatment effectiveness and client engagement.

Collaborate with clinical staff to resolve data discrepancies and improve data collection processes.

Support research projects by preparing datasets, maintaining documentation, and assisting with data management activities.

Develop and maintain standard operating procedures related to data management and reporting.

Participate in continuous quality improvement initiatives to strengthen data collection and reporting practices.

Perform other duties as assigned.
