As a Senior Associate in Data + AI Advisory team, the Data Governance and Master Data Management (MDM) Consultant will be responsible for:

  • Executing solution delivery engagements through definition of Data Governance programs and MDM solution design

  • Collaborating and working effectively with consultants in other regions and practices

Required Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree or graduate degree with an emphasis in Math, Computer Science, Information Systems, or Business

  • Minimum 3 years of related experience

  • Proven experience supporting data governance and master data management initiatives across one or more domains, contributing to design and implementation of data governance frameworks and MDM solutions.

  • Concept-based understanding of two or more of the following: data ownership/stewardship, data quality, metadata management, data standards or policies, master data definitions, data hierarchies, golden record concepts

  • Experience translating business requirements into functional governance or MDM artifacts

  • Excellent attention to detail, organization, and follow-up skills.

  • Must be a team player; able to work in virtual teams and independently.

  • Strong financial and business acumen, and ability to speak about technology in the language of business; ability to translate technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.

  • Strong critical thinking and problem-solving skills and a curiosity about business and technology.

  • Ability to interact effectively with internal and external resources at all organizational levels.

  • Willingness and ability to travel.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Exposure to data quality, data catalog, or MDM tools

  • Prior experience in a consulting environment

  • Understanding of how data governance and MDM integrate with the following

    • Analytics and reporting

    • Data platforms and integration pipelines

    • Downstream operational and AI use cases

  • Working knowledge of data architecture

  • Relevant training or certifications, such as Certified Data Management Professional (CDMP) or Applied Data Governance Practitioner (ADGP)

The salary range (or starting rate for interns and associates) for this role represents numerous factors considered in the hiring decisions including, but not limited to, education, skills, work experience, certifications, location, etc. As such, pay for the successful candidate(s) could fall anywhere within the stated range.

Compensation Range: $79,000 - $126,500

Individualsselected for this role will be eligible for a discretionary bonus based on firm and individual performance.
