Role Summary

The Email and Content Marketing Specialist will be responsible for development and execution of our content and communication strategy for UMP and its partner practices throughout the country. The individual in this role will work closely with stakeholders and market leaders to create content that engages with our patient audience as well as internal team members.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities (Other duties may be assigned)

Develop and execute a comprehensive content strategy that aligns with the company's goals, target audience and brand identity

Build email automations to deliver impactful content at relevant points of the patient journey

Create and manage editorial calendar to deliver timely content across digital platforms

Create high quality and compelling content across multiple platforms, including websites, blogs, social media and email

Ensure brand consistency and compliance with the company's style guide and voice across all content deliverables

Interview patients and providers to create content and stories that can be used across multiple channels

Manage and maintain content repositories; Ensure content is organized in an easily accessible way for future use

Support content update to the employee intranet, and keeping team members informed on what's happening across our markets

Responsible for sending out internal newsletters and company communications (e.g. department specific updates, new executive/physician announcements, all-employee messages)

Serve as the communications resource for HR & Cross-Departmental projects


Requirements

Qualifications

2-4 years' experience in content development and marketing communication

1-2 years experience in email marketing and marketing automation

Bachelor's degree in marketing, communications, journalism or similar majors

Prior advertising agency experience a plus; healthcare industry experience a plus

Experience in Salesforce Marketing Cloud (or similar email automation platform such as Hubspot or Adobe Marketo)

Exceptional writing and editing skills, with a strong attention to detail

Excellent organizational skills, with ability to self-manage workflow and different priorities

Able to consistently meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment

Confident using Canva, or similar design platforms, for social media creation

Track record of collaborating with others on the marketing teams to deliver business outcomes

A client service mentality - you understand that we exist to support and deliver for the practices that are part of UMP

Passion and infectious enthusiasm for marketing as a key growth driver

Great interpersonal, presentation and communication skills - ability to collaborate and work well with others; ability showcase your work and demonstrate how it connects with our business objectives
