Job Title: Digital Content & Marketing Manager


Job Status: Full-time, Exempt


Job Location: HQ - Ft. Worth, TX


Job Summary: The Digital Content & Marketing Manager supports the Communications team by executing Unbound Now's digital marketing and communications strategy. This role is responsible for creating and executing engaging content across social media, email marketing, graphic design, and website communications to increase brand awareness, strengthen community engagement, support fundraising efforts, and advance the organization's mission.

The ideal candidate is a creative storyteller, organized project manager, and collaborative communicator who enjoys bringing campaigns to life with compelling visuals, engaging copy, and strategic digital content while maintaining a consistent, recognizable brand.

Schedule/Availability: 8:30 a.m.-5:30 p.m., Monday through Friday, with a one-hour lunch break. Occasional weekends and evenings are required as needed.


Working conditions: Work is performed in a normal office environment or other professional environment. Work duties may, on rare occasions, be performed in an environment requiring exposure to weather extremes, fumes, odors, and noise. 


Travel: This position requires occasional travel in or out of state for training and/or office visits.


Responsibilities:

  • Execute the organization's digital marketing and communications strategy in collaboration with the Communications team. 
  • Implement annual, quarterly, and monthly communications calendars.
  • Coordinate and align messaging across social media, email marketing, website content, fundraising campaigns, and events.
  • Identify opportunities to increase audience engagement and strengthen the organization's digital presence.
  • Stay current on social media trends, emerging technologies, and nonprofit marketing best practices.
  • Manage the organization's social media platforms, including Facebook, Instagram, LinkedIn, X, TikTok, YouTube, and emerging platforms.
  • Create, schedule, publish, and optimize content across all digital channels.
  • Write engaging captions and calls to action that reflect the organization's voice.
  • Monitor comments and messages while fostering positive community engagement.
  • Support campaign execution through coordinated social media efforts.
  • Design digital and print marketing materials, including:
    • Social media graphics
    • Flyers and brochures
    • Event collateral
    • One-pagers
    • Infographics
    • Presentation materials
    • Fundraising and donor communications
    • Digital advertisements
  • Maintain brand standards and ensure visual consistency across all communications.
  • Develop and manage branded templates within Canva and Adobe Creative Suite.
  • Manage email marketing campaign execution that supports fundraising, donor stewardship, volunteer recruitment, advocacy, and organizational updates.
  • Build, schedule, and test email communications.
  • Monitor campaign performance, including open rates, click-through rates, and engagement metrics.
  • Write engaging copy for social media, email campaigns, website content, blogs, and marketing materials.
  • Capture and share stories that highlight the organization's impact, programs, donors, and community partners across digital channels. 
  • Ensure messaging aligns with established brand voice and organizational priorities.
  • Assist in updating website content, landing pages, and campaign materials as needed.
  • Coordinate website updates to support organizational initiatives and fundraising campaigns.
  • Ensure digital content is accurate, visually engaging, and aligned with brand standards.
  • Apply basic SEO best practices to improve discoverability.
  • Monitor digital performance across social media, email marketing, website traffic, and online campaigns.
  • Track key performance indicators, including audience growth, engagement, email performance, and campaign effectiveness.
  • Prepare monthly reports with insights and recommendations to improve future communications.
  • Work closely with the Director of Communications to execute strategic marketing initiatives.
  • Collaborate with Development, Regional Directors, Programs, and Leadership teams to support fundraising campaigns, events, volunteer recruitment, and organizational communications.
  • Assist with communications planning and project management for organizational initiatives.

Education & Experience

  • Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Communications, Public Relations, Graphic Design, Journalism, or a related field, or equivalent professional experience.
  • Three or more years of experience in digital marketing, communications, or content creation.
  • Strong portfolio demonstrating graphic design, photography, videography, and content creation.
  • Excellent writing, editing, and storytelling skills.
  • Experience managing social media platforms and email marketing campaigns.
  • Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite, Canva, Premiere Pro, CapCut, Lightroom, or similar creative software.
  • Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines.
  • Ability to work collaboratively while managing day-to-day communications independently.

Preferred

  • Experience working in a nonprofit organization.
  • Experience supporting fundraising and donor engagement campaigns.
  • Familiarity with website content management systems (WordPress or similar).
  • Experience with email marketing platforms such as Virtuous, Constant Contact, HubSpot, or similar.
  • Working knowledge of Google Analytics, SEO, and digital marketing best practices.
  • Experience using AI-powered creative tools to enhance content development while maintaining brand standards.
  • Support larger video productions led by the Director of Communications or external creative partners.
  • Maintain an organized digital asset library of photography, video, and creative resources.
