Job description

As our Content Author, you’ll help drive Concora Credit’s Mission to enable customers to Do More with Credit – every single day.

The impact you’ll have at Concora Credit:

You’ll work with a cross-functional team consisting of IT developers, business analysts, business leaders, and others to help turn marketing ideas and concepts into delivered user experiences for our customers. This requires collaborating with a variety of technical and business stakeholders to deliver high-quality outcomes, correct errors in a timely manner, and implement changes to the content management system. You’ll be responsible for configuring new designs for site content, updating user stories, executing monitoring plans, facilitating testing, and maintaining high standards for a consumer-facing operation.

We hire people, not positions. That's because, at Concora Credit, we put people first, including our customers, partners, and Team Members. Concora Credit is guided by a single purpose: to help non-prime customers do more with credit. Today, we have helped millions of customers access credit. Our industry leadership, resilience, and willingness to adapt ensure we can help our partners responsibly say yes to millions more. As a company grounded in entrepreneurship, we're looking to expand our team and are looking for people who foster innovation, strive to make an impact, and want to Do More! We’re an established company with over 20 years of experience, but now we’re taking things to the next level. We're seeking someone who wants to impact the business and play a pivotal role in leading the charge for change.

As our Content Author, you will:

  • Act as the content author and expert for all consumer and customer-facing websites, understanding the operation of the system and its dependencies.
  • Working with product owners, architects, UX designers, and development teams to ensure the website content is configured, tested, and approved for each release.
  • Oversee digital assets, ensuring optimization for web performance and search.
  • Be responsible and accountable for the usability and quality of configured content.
  • Support the backlog of work to be completed, appropriately completing work items based on business need and company value.
  • Provide regular and transparent updates to the business on the status of content updates, calling out any risks and dependencies.
  • Provide quality oversight for deployments, including multi-step scheduling and user acceptance testing plans.
  • Execute and/or oversee rigorous cross-browser and mobile testing to ensure appropriate rendering across all devices.
  • Create and maintain accurate and comprehensive documentation.
  • Provide suggestions and opportunities for improvement in the setup and design of the content management system. Collaborate with members of product and development teams to drive improvement prioritization.
  • Understand and manage to deadlines, cost constraints, and impact on other teams, and make resource and design trade-offs based on those factors
  • Work within an Agile Team.
  • Other duties as assigned.

These duties must be performed with or without reasonable accommodation.

We know experience comes in many forms and that many skills are transferable. If your experience is close to what we're looking for, consider applying. Diversity has made us the entrepreneurial and innovative company that we are today.

Requirements:

  • Experience managing customer-facing web applications.
  • 5+ years of content management system (CMS) administration experience, including work across complex and cross-functional organizations.  Specific focus on Acquia and Drupal platforms preferred.
  • Experience with design tools such as Figma or Adobe Creative Cloud.
  • Proficiency in PHP, HTML, and CSS.
  • Knowledgeable of WCAG standards and SEO best practices.
  • Experience using analytics and behavior tools (i.e., Google Analytics, FullStory, LogRocket) to monitor performance and recommend content improvements.
  • Strong facilitation, interpersonal, consensus-building, and decision-making skills.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to engage technical and non-technical audiences.
  • Ability to present technical concepts, diagrams, and other assets to business, management, and technical audiences.
  • Strong documentation skills for defining and producing technical and functional specifications.
  • Ability to identify opportunities for improvement, prioritize own work, and meet deadlines.
  • Ability to simplify complex workflow and execution scenarios into clear, actionable solutions.
  • Recognize and resolve ambiguous conflicting objectives.
