Job description

Construction Receptionist LHH Recruitment is seeking a professional and organized Construction Receptionist to join a busy construction client in Albuquerque. This position will serve as the first point of contact for visitors, employees, vendors, and customers while also providing administrative support to the operations team. This role is fully onsite, paying $20/hr.
The ideal candidate is dependable, professional, comfortable working in a fast-paced environment, and able to handle multiple priorities while maintaining excellent attention to detail.
Responsibilities
  • Greet and assist visitors, employees, vendors, and customers in a professional manner
  • Answer and direct incoming phone calls and messages
  • Provide general administrative and clerical support to the construction and operations teams
  • Perform light dispatching by coordinating calls, schedules, and field personnel as needed
  • Communicate with field employees, drivers, vendors, and customers regarding schedules and job-related information
  • Maintain accurate records, files, and documentation
  • Assist with data entry, scanning, filing, and other office duties
  • Track and communicate updates to the appropriate team members
  • Help coordinate deliveries, service calls, and other operational requests
  • Respond to basic questions and escalate issues when necessary
  • Maintain a professional and organized reception and office area
  • Assist with additional administrative and operational projects as needed
Qualifications
  • 1+ year of receptionist, administrative, customer service, or office experience preferred
  • Construction, dispatch, transportation, or field-service experience is a plus
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Excellent organization and attention to detail
  • Ability to multitask and prioritize in a fast-paced environment
  • Comfortable communicating with both office and field personnel
  • Proficient with Microsoft Office and basic computer systems
  • Reliable, professional, and dependable
  • Ability to work fully onsite Monday-Friday
