We are looking for a teammate who brings a keen eye for even the smallest details to help ensure the team's success.
This quick learner will adapt rapidly to our business system and apply their new skills across our many divisions.
The primary focus of this position is managing information and data that goes into our computer data system (SAP), which is used to aid in the creation of products for our Fortune 500 customers, as well as our own industry-envied brands. This vital role supports the Engineering and various business departments by preparing and managing engineering documents (drawings, 3D models, etc.) for new and existing business, including entering the parts lists needed to support the production process from start to finish. The Engineering Support Technician will join a team of skilled and knowledgeable professionals based in our beautiful, comfortable and modern Mayville office - this is not a hands-on test lab position.
Responsibilities
This list of duties and responsibilities is not all-inclusive and maybe expanded to include other duties and responsibilities, as management may deem necessary from time to time.
  • Responsible for creation and maintenance of bills of materials and shop routings in our computer data system. This role is critical for the creation and releasing of engineering information that drives our teams in Operations, Purchasing, Accounting and others to build products for our OEM, Automation, Versatran, and Bluebird divisions.
  • Gather documents needed to support new and revised projects (customer drawings, 3D models, quotes, customer PO).
  • Process internal and external revisions and communicate with our teams the details of the revisions.
  • Print and distribute engineering drawings to shop work areas.
  • Assist Estimating Team as needed: printing drawings, handling RFQ's with suppliers, miscellaneous tasks.

This is a great opportunity for someone who has worked in manufacturing and is interested in an office-based position in engineering.

    • Must be meticulous with job tasks.
    • Experience working in or at a manufacturing facility.
    • Ability to prioritize multiple tasks and work with minimal supervision.
    • Strong computer skills.
