Job description

RCIS is looking for a contractor to provide on-site support and troubleshooting services at client sites. Technicians must be able to troubleshoot workstation issues, read and update technical documentation, dress professionally, and communicate with other support staff. This will be a part-time (1099) position on a per-job basis.

In compliance with tax regulations, contractors may be required to file a W-9 with RCIS prior to recieving payment. Experienced and first-time applicants encouraged to apply. Roles and responsibilities for this position include: Troubleshooting servers, workstations, printers, and other IT equipment issues Collaborating with other RCIS support technicians and dispatchers in-person and over the phone Accurately tracking time spent on tasks for billing purposes Reading and updating technical documentation as needed Dressing professionally for an office environment An ideal candidate for this position may possess the following skills: High level of computer competency Strong critical thinking, communication, and troubleshooting skills Familiarity or ability to learn in-house IT applications such as Zendesk, Podio, and Google Apps for Business.
