Role : Computer Support Technician
Location : Nashville, TN
W2 Position
Some travel needed
Job Description: We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented individual to join our IT Deployment Team. As a member of this team, you will be responsible for the delivery, installation, configuration, and support of laptops across various locations. You will work collaboratively with other team members to ensure efficient deployment of technology assets while maintaining a high level of customer service.
Key Responsibilities:
  • Deliver, install, and configure computers
  • Prepare workstations, peripherals, and software for deployment
  • Maintain accurate records of equipment deployment and status
  • Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues on-site or remotely
  • Follow safety procedures and best practices during deployment activities
  • Communicate effectively with end users and team members
  • Maintain organization and cleanliness of deployment storage areas
  • Travel to different TDOT sites as required, including travel across the state of Tennessee (travel expenses will be reimbursed by state guidelines)

Physical Requirements:
  • Must be able to lift, push, and carry equipment weighing up to 50 pounds
  • Must be able to stand, walk, bend, and reach for extended periods during deployments

Qualifications:
  • High school diploma or equivalent required; technical certifications a plus
  • Prior experience in IT deployment, hardware installation, or similar role preferred
