Job Summary

The PC Support Technician provides desktop and technical support to military, civilian, and contractor personnel. The role focuses on installing, configuring, troubleshooting, and maintaining computers, software, mobile devices, printers, peripherals, and network connections. The technician also handles service tickets, workstation imaging, user support, IT asset management, upgrades, and cybersecurity compliance.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide help desk and desktop support and resolve technical issues.
  • Install, configure, troubleshoot, maintain, and relocate computers, laptops, printers, and peripheral devices.
  • Perform system imaging, software installation, upgrades, patches, and operating system configuration.
  • Install and configure network adapters, internet connections, and peripheral devices.
  • Diagnose and resolve network connectivity, cabling, and configuration issues.
  • Respond to user inquiries and service requests involving PCs, servers, hardware, software, operating systems, and business applications.
  • Coordinate technical support activities with network and other IT support organizations.
  • Manage and resolve service tickets according to established service-level requirements.
  • Maintain IT asset inventories and hardware/software configuration documentation.
  • Support organizational IT standards, policies, and procedures.
  • Provide on-call support for scheduled maintenance, service interruptions, and mission-critical incidents.
Required Qualifications
  • U.S. Citizen.
  • Active DoD Secret Clearance.
  • IAT Level II certification or higher under DoD 8570/8140 requirements.
  • 2+ years of experience as a PC Support Technician, Help Desk Specialist, Desktop Support Technician, or related IT support role.
  • Experience installing, configuring, troubleshooting, and supporting PC, workstation, and server hardware and software.
  • Experience diagnosing network connectivity, cabling, and network interface issues.
  • Experience providing help desk and desktop support.
  • Experience responding to user inquiries and providing technical assistance.
  • Knowledge of Windows workstation administration and support.
  • Current certification in Microsoft Windows 10/11, Microsoft Server 2016/2019, Microsoft Modern Desktop Administrator, or related technology.
