DatamanUSA is looking for a IT Support Technician for our direct client based in TX. This is a great opportunity for someone who is a quick learner with excellent people skills.

Job Details:
Job Title: IT Support Technician
Location: Wylie, TX
Duration: 6 months


Knowledge, Skills & Abilities
*) General knowledge and analytical skills in all IT related equipment to include laptop, desktop, and notebook PCs. Basic knowledge of LAN and WAN connectivity and topology. Knowledge of printers, IP telephony, wiring/cabling, A/V equipment, and electronics.
*) Must be able to communicate effectively with others both verbally and in writing.
*) Requires occasional shift work, including regularly scheduled on call duties after hours and on weekends.
*) Ability to adapt to flexible working locations and environments, including remote sites across the District's footprint.
*) Requires excellent communication and organizational skills. Must exercise good judgment based upon established procedures and policies.

Education and Experience
*) Requires a high school diploma or G.E.D.
*) Preferred 2 years experience using Microsoft Active Directory and desktop PC support.
*) A+, Network+, ITIL or other industry standard IT certifications preferred.
*) Requires a valid Texas Driver's License.
