CSAT Solutions is currently seeking qualified candidates to fill the role of a Computer Test Operator. This position will require the candidate to have some knowledge of computer components.
Role and Responsibilities
  • Operates machines to test functioning of parts or whole units
  • Runs software programs on repaired machines to test unit functionality
  • Tests repaired systems to ensure that they are in working order
  • Completes VMI of units before testing
  • Returns units to technician for repair if unit fails VMI/test
  • Responsible for meeting ISO 9001 and/or other quality system requirements in their department
  • May forward units on to quality group for QA inspection, if unit passes test
  • May test components or circuits of faulty equipment to locate defects, using special diagnostic software programs
  • May install and configure repaired equipment, including operating software or peripheral equipment
  • May perform other duties as assigned

Education, Training and Skills
  • High school diploma or equivalent preferred
  • 1 year of experience with test and software installation and configuration, preferred
  • Basic knowledge of computer software
  • Basic familiarity with computer use required
  • Familiarity with continuous improvement methods preferred
  • Must be able to work in a fast-paced team environment with close supervision
  • Intermediate English abilities required
  • Ability to follow documented procedures, standards and policies
  • Excellent time-management skills

Working Conditions and Essential Abilities & Functions
  • Warehouse environment (may not be climate-controlled)
  • Lift/carry up to 20 lbs.
  • Push/pull up to 10 lbs.
  • Stand/walk for 8 hours
  • Frequent bending, stooping, twisting, and crouching
  • Use of small hand tools
