Job description

Job Title: Computer Operator
Location: Houston, TX 77042
Duration: 6 Months
Pay Rate: $26.00/hr on W-2

Schedule: 6:15 AM – 2:15 PM. Days off will likely be Tuesday and Wednesday. This is a 24/7 data center environment, so weekend, holiday, and bad-weather shifts may be required.

Job Overview:
Responsible for monitoring and controlling company systems, balancing batch processes, managing project workloads, and supporting global users across company systems and software.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Monitor and control systems using OCM / Cloud software and other internal platforms.
  • Manage batch balancing and system load adjustments based on project priorities.
  • Monitor system alerts, identify issues, and coordinate resolutions.
  • Support internal and global users, vendors, and technical teams.
  • Maintain documentation and reports related to system operations.
Technical Requirements:
  • Strong knowledge of Linux and Windows operating systems.
  • Experience with commands, scripts, and system programs.
  • Working knowledge of Microsoft Excel and Word.
