JOB SUMMARY:
Perform an array of functions that include operating HEM and Cosen saws.
QUALIFICATIONS:

Perform an array of functions that include operating HEM and Cosen saws.
QUALIFICATIONS:
- 1 - 3 years' experience operating a saw
- 1+ year experience operating forklifts a plus
- Basic math skills
- Knowledge of computer
- High school diploma or GED certificate
RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Set up the saw machine, making adjustments for each job
- Set stops or guides to specified lengths
- Operate the saw machine, keeping an eye out for any defects or issues
- Use measurement tools to ensure accuracy, mainly a measuring tape
- Help pack and transport finished pieces using forklift
- Accurately complete paperwork
- Will cross-train and assist in other areas as needed and directed by supervisor
- Attention to detail
PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS:
- Regularly required to use hands to finger, handle or feel, reach with hands and arms and talk or hear
- Regularly lift and/or move objects 10-50 lbs. Occasionally lift and/or move objects that weigh more than 100 lbs. (with the proper lifting equipment)
- Frequently required to stand, walk, stoop, kneel, crouch or crawl
- Occasionally required to sit and climb or balance
- Specific vision abilities required for this job include close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception and ability to adjust and focus.
