We are seeking an individual who demonstrates strong talent and motivation to join our team as a Computer Operator at our Data Center in Austin,TX.

  Provide entry to intermediate level monitoring and support for operating equipment for one or more jurisdictions, ensuring flawless operations 24/7.

 Conduct intermediate level analysis of systems and servers pertaining to host systems, middleware, applications, and existing tools.

 Monitor logical security through the use of established tools and procedures.

 Gain hands-on experience in identifying and resolving network technology issues associated with IP network devices and backbone transports.

 Effectively carry out, verify, and restore predefined processes in the operational checklists to guarantee the successful completion of draw processing, day-end processing, system balancing, file system maintenance, change requests, report/file transfers and deliveries, messaging and jackpot details, system locations/configurations, and internal/external customer requests.

 Coordinate, carry out, verify, monitor, follow up on, and address internal and external customer requests in accordance with established guidelines.

 Submit recommendations to create and maintain operational procedures and checklists.

  • Able to performs entry level troubleshooting of systems and servers related to host systems, middleware, applications, and existing tools according to established procedures under supervision.
  • Performs entry level network monitoring and troubleshooting by confirming tool set availability, using tools for verification of services, and detecting, reporting, escalating, and documenting anomalies according to established procedures.
  • Must have some basic knowledge of multiple operating systems and applications (network, system, and servers) in order to perform entry level troubleshooting of systems and servers related to host systems, middleware, applications, and existing tools according to established procedures with minimal supervision.

At Brightstar, we consider a wide range of factors in determining compensation, including background, skills, experience, and work location. These factors can cause your compensation to vary. The estimated starting compensation range for this role is $21/hr-$22/hr. The actual pay offered may be higher or lower. The Company complies with all local pay requirements and collective bargaining agreements, where applicable.

Base pay is one part of our Total Rewards program. Non-exempt roles are eligible for irregular discretionary bonuses. In addition, we offer employees a 401(k) Savings Plan with Company contributions, health, dental, and vision insurance, life, accident, and disability insurance, tuition reimbursement, paid time off, wellness programs, and identity theft insurance. Note: programs are subject to eligibility requirements.
