What you'll accomplish with us
As a Senior Strategic Business Communications Manager, you'll be at the core of our mission. Here are the main responsibilities:

  • Act as the CEO's primary communications advisor, shaping executive narratives, speeches, talking points, and enterprise messaging, while translating complex business objectives into clear, outcome-driven communications.

  • Lead the development of high-impact, on-brand communications that engage and align advisors, employees, investors, and stakeholders across diverse audiences in a regulated environment.

  • Oversee executive communications governance, including CEO priorities tracking, initiative ownership, timelines, and progress cadence, ensuring discipline and accountability.

  • Own the execution of executive forums (daily, weekly, quarterly), including agenda setting, pre-read alignment, action item tracking, and follow-through to support decision-making.

  • Ensure messaging consistency, quality, and effectiveness across all channels and corporate platforms (websites, newsletters, advisor/client portals, social media), with a strong focus on engagement and business impact.

  • Drive cross-functional alignment by influencing how initiatives come together, advising leaders on positioning key decisions, and leading or supporting high-priority initiatives and executive materials.

  • Apply advanced judgment and analytical thinking to anticipate risks, identify gaps, recommend best practices, and continuously improve communications processes, while owning measurable outcomes tied to business objectives, leadership effectiveness, and organizational alignment.

What could accelerate your success in this role

  • Is recognized for their organizational discipline, project management capabilities, and ability to manage ambiguity, change, and competing priorities in a fast-paced setting

  • Has 10+ years of progressive experience in strategic communications within financial services, along with a bachelor's degree in marketing, communications, journalism, business administration, or a related field

  • An advanced level of English proficiency is required, as the incumbent will be required to communicate regularly with English-speaking advisors, leaders, and stakeholders across Canada through both written and verbal interactions.
