Location: Hybrid (Stamford, CT; 1-2 days per week in office)

Reports to: VP, Strategic Communications
Compensation: $20 - $25 per hour

About Opportunity

The AIFS Abroad division is seeking to hire a temporary, part-time Strategic Communications Associate to support our Strategic Communications & Engagement team. This role provides hands-on experience to learn and synthesize program information with the goal of updating and maintaining web and print that supports partnership and engagement efforts. This position offers an excellent opportunity for individuals interested in international education, higher education administration, and study abroad programming to gain experience with a leading global education provider.

Strategic Communications Associate

Primary responsibilities include:

  • Auditing existing content in cloud-based document library.
  • Coordinating and organizing content within content library.
  • Entering data to support robust website and portal listings.
  • Maintaining content, assuring cohesion across platforms.
  • Supporting program proposals and information management.
  • Aiding with review of website content.
  • Communicating updates to line manager and team as required.

Qualifications

  • Associates degree or progress toward Bachelors degree required.
  • Minimum of one year of professional experience.
  • Demonstrated strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Strong attention to detail.
  • Excellent organizational and project management abilities.
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities simultaneously.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office, Teams, SharePoint, and OneDrive.

Preferred Experience

  • Experience studying, interning, working, or living abroad.
