Position Overview

The Commercial Sales Representative is responsible for developing new business, managing relationships with key clients, and driving revenue through commercial roofing projects. This role combines business development, customer relationship management, site assessment, and solution-based selling.

Key Responsibilities
  • Prospect, generate, and qualify new commercial roofing leads
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, including GCs, property managers, and building owners
  • Conduct site visits, roof inspections, and evaluations to determine customer needs
  • Prepare and present proposals, scopes of work, and pricing
  • Manage the full sales cycle from lead to contract
  • Collaborate closely with estimating, project management, and field operations
  • Attend industry networking events, trade shows, and association meetings
  • Track all sales activities in CRM and manage pipeline forecasts
  • Maintain a deep understanding of company services, roofing systems, warranties, and installation processes

Qualifications
  • 3+ years of sales experience, preferably in roofing, construction, or commercial services
  • Experience with new constructionand reroof.
  • Knowledge of commercial roofing systems (TPO, PVC, coatings, metal, modified bitumen) strongly preferred
  • Ability to read construction documents, scopes of work, and roof plans (preferred)
  • Strong communication, negotiation, and presentation skills
  • Proven ability to build relationships and close deals
  • Comfortable performing rooftop assessments and site walks
  • Valid driver's license and reliable transportation
  • Self-motivated, organized, and goal-driven
