Job Title: Sales Representative
Reports To: Sales Manager
Department: Sales
Job Summary:
The Sales Representative at Galli Beer Distributing will be responsible for maintaining and growing relationships with on-premise and off-premise accounts. This position involves selling and promoting the companyโ€™s wide range of alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverage products, ensuring customer satisfaction, and achieving sales goals. You will play a key role in increasing product distribution, educating clients about product features, and developing marketing strategies to maximize visibility.
Key Responsibilities:

  • Account Management: Maintain regular contact with assigned accounts, build strong relationships, and ensure client satisfaction.
  • Sales Strategy: Identify opportunities to grow sales in both new and existing accounts by developing strategic selling plans for each account.
  • Product Promotion: Educate clients on product offerings, including new items in the portfolio, and ensure proper merchandising of products at accounts.
  • Order Processing: Assist clients in placing orders, coordinate with the delivery team, and troubleshoot any issues related to product deliveries.
  • Market Insights: Stay informed about competitor products, industry trends, and market developments to anticipate and address client needs.
  • Event Support: Participate in trade shows, tastings, and events to promote Galli Beerโ€™s portfolio.
  • Reporting: Provide timely and accurate reporting on sales activities, inventory needs, and client interactions using the companyโ€™s CRM system.
Requirements:

  • Experience: 1-3 years of sales experience in the beverage or related industry preferred.
  • Communication Skills: Strong verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to present confidently to clients.
  • Customer-Focused: Demonstrated ability to build rapport with clients and provide solutions that meet their needs.
  • Organization: Ability to manage multiple accounts and priorities in a fast-paced environment.
  • Product Knowledge: Interest and familiarity with the beverage industry, including beer, wine, spirits, and non-alcoholic options.
  • Driverโ€™s License: Must have a valid driver's license and reliable transportation.
Work Environment:

  • Must be able to lift cases of product (up to 50 lbs.)
