Job description

Sales Representative – Dionysos Imports (VA/DC)

The Role

Dionysos Imports is looking for a high-energy, person-centered Sales Representative to manage and scale a premier territory in the VA/MD/DC market. You will be the face of an expansive global portfolio—featuring world-class European imports (with a deep heritage in Greek, Italian, and French selections) alongside top-tier American craft products. This is a role for a consultant who loves the "hustle" of the road and the art of a perfect pairing.

What You’ll Do

  • Drive the Route: Spend the majority of your time "on the road," cultivating relationships with key decision-makers at restaurants, bars, and retail shops.
  • Consult & Curate: Act as a strategic partner, leveraging our diverse portfolio to help clients build high-performing beverage programs and curated wine lists.
  • Educate & Showcase: Conduct dynamic tastings and staff trainings to bring our new arrivals and seasonal stories to life.
  • Execute Excellence: Manage the full sales cycle—from identifying and opening new accounts to resolving inventory/delivery logistics with world-class responsiveness.
  • Own the Market: Stay ahead of industry trends and competitor activity to capture new market share within your territory.

What You Bring

  • The Personality: You are a natural "people person" who builds trust quickly and masters the small details that win long-term loyalty.
  • The Hustle: Self-motivated and highly organized, you thrive in an autonomous environment and take pride in hitting growth targets.
  • The Expertise: A strong foundation in wine and spirits is essential. Deep knowledge of European regions (specifically Greece and Italy) is a significant advantage.
  • The Logistics: A valid driver’s license, a reliable vehicle, and the ability to work the flexible hours required by the hospitality industry.

The Personality: You’re a "people person" who builds genuine relationships and remembers the small details.

The Hustle: You are self-motivated, organized, and comfortable managing a daily route independently.

The Knowledge: A solid foundation in wine, beer, and spirits (especially European regions) is highly preferred.

The Basics: A valid driver’s license, reliable transportation.
