Job description

General Responsibilities:
  • Responsible for all sales merchandising at the account level, including stocking, point-of-sale, rotation, and building and maintaining displays.
  • Identify inventory concerns and communicate them with the sales rep or District Manager.
  • Ensure Northeast Sales brands are displayed in high visibility locations within accounts in accordance with brand display standards.
  • Provide professional and courteous service at all times.
  • Identify and report competitive sales activity to management.
  • Run sales routes when the need arises (vacations, sick days, etc.)
  • Rotate products for freshness.
  • Confirm with sales management that all accounts have been serviced to standard at the end of the day before leaving work.
  • Abide by company safety guidelines at all times.
  • All other necessary duties at the request of management.

Qualifications
A qualified candidate should meet most, if not all, of the following criteria:
  • This position requires heavy lifting (occasionally 50+ pounds) and rolling of beverage products via hand trucks, pallet jacks, and by hand, often over uncertain terrain (stairs, curbs, sidewalks, gravel, etc.) and in tight spaces (grocery store aisles and back rooms, coolers, convenience stores, etc.). Must also have the ability to roll beer kegs weighing in excess of 100 pounds.
  • A general understanding and interest of wine, beer, and spirits.
  • A desire to build lasting relationships with buyers and account owners.
  • Must be a driven and results oriented professional with excellent verbal and written skills, and the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
  • Excel in an unsupervised environment and deliver positive sales results, meet deadlines, work independently but also as a team, when applicable.

Requirements
  • Must possess a valid Georgia driver's license.
  • Must be on-time to work each morning, and punctual when in the field.
  • Strong attention to detail.
  • Pass a criminal background check.
  • Must have a clean 7-year Motor Vehicle Report (MVR).
  • Pass a physical and drug screening.
