Non-CDL Delivery Driver

$1,000 Sign-On Bonus | Earn Up to $50,000 Annually


SUMMARY

Join the team at Savannah Distributing as a Non-CDL Delivery Driver and play a critical role in delivering beer, wine, and non-alcoholic beverages to customers throughout the Savannah area.

Drivers operate a 26-foot box truck and are responsible for safely delivering products, building strong customer relationships, and representing the company professionally.

This role is ideal for individuals who enjoy working independently, staying active throughout the day, and providing excellent customer service. No CDL required.


PAY & COMPENSATION
  • Base Salary: Starting at $41,600 annually, with higher starting pay considered based on relevant experience
  • Commission Potential: Earn up to $50,000 total annually based on route performance
  • Sign-On Bonus: $1,000 (paid after 90 days of employment)

WHAT TO EXPECT
  • Early start times (typically between 5:00 AM – 7:00 AM)
  • 15–25 delivery stops per day throughout the Savannah area
  • Physically active work with frequent lifting, unloading, and moving product
  • Fast-paced environment focused on efficiency and accuracy
  • Daily interaction with customers—professionalism and communication are key

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
  • Safely transport products to each designated stop on assigned route
  • Deliver products to 15–25 customer locations per day
  • Load, unload, and move product using hand trucks and pallet jacks
  • Inspect and operate delivery vehicle safely
  • Pick up returns and required documentation for processing
  • Collect payments from customers when required
  • Complete all required logs and reports
  • Adhere to all company safety standards
  • Perform other duties as assigned

QUALIFICATIONS
  • Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record
  • Ability to operate a 26-foot box truck
  • Ability to pass a DOT physical and drug screening
  • Strong work ethic and reliability
  • Ability to work independently and manage time effectively
  • Strong customer service and communication skills
  • Basic math skills for invoices and payments
  • Previous delivery, route, or warehouse experience preferred but not required

WORKING CONDITIONS
  • Fast-paced, team-oriented environment
  • Work in a variety of weather conditions
  • Frequently required to bend, reach, twist, and climb in and out of delivery trucks
  • Frequently lift and move 30–50 pounds and occasionally lift 60+ pounds
