West Side Beer Distributing is hiring for a Full-Time Merchandiser – Sales Support in Kalamazoo
We're looking for a dependable Merchandiser to support our Sales team and keep our products looking their best! In this role, you'll work independently in local retail accounts, ensuring shelves are stocked, displays are built, and products are presented to drive sales. If you enjoy staying active, working hands-on, and building great relationships with store staff, we'd love to hear from you!
Location:
Compensation: $17.75 per hour, after 90 days $18.25, after 1 year $18.75
Schedule: Full-time, 5 days/week (40-50 hours), SUNDAY TO THURSDAY, early morning starts, some weekends/holidays required
Reports To: Sales Support Manager
FLSA Status: Non-Exempt

About the Role
As a Merchandiser – Sales Support, you’ll help ensure our products are always fresh, available, and presented to drive sales. You’ll support the sales team by stocking shelves, rotating inventory, creating eye-catching displays, and maintaining strong relationships with retail staff.
What You’ll Do
  • Stock shelves, coolers, and displays with beer and beverage products
  • Rotate inventory to maintain freshness
  • Build and maintain displays that drive sales
  • Place promotional signs and price tags as directed
  • Track and report inventory needs to sales and delivery teams
  • Communicate with retail staff and represent the company professionally
  • Support the sales team with in-store merchandising initiatives
What You’ll Need
  • High School Diploma or GED
  • Valid driver’s license and proof of insurance meeting company requirements (the company requirements will be provided during the interview process)
  • Reliable personal vehicle for store visits
  • Ability to lift and move beverage cases regularly
  • Positive attitude, attention to detail, and willingness to learn
  • Customer-service mindset for interacting with store staff
Physical Requirements
  • Frequently lift, carry, push, or pull up to 100 lbs.
  • Stand for long periods; climb, bend, squat, reach frequently
