Union Beer Distributors is a family-run beer distributing company that supplies the highest quality beers available across the northeastern United States. Fleet Mechanic Wanted for the 2nd shift (2pm - 10pm) - TO INQUIRE OR FOLLOW UP ON YOUR APPLICATION - Please do not call the main number. Send an email to UBOpsrecruiter@unionbeerdist.com

What you’ll be doing:

    • Repair trucks, cars, and other company machinery as required
    • Provide for the general maintenance requirements of the plant as necessary
    • Inspect all vehicles to ensure that the vehicles meet state safety requirements
    • Perform preventative maintenance on vehicles to minimize vehicle down time
    • Maintain mechanical certifications as required

EQUIPMENT USED TO PERFORM ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:

    • Electric and hydraulic tools
    • Forklift
    • Truck and/or automobile

What you will need to succeed:

  • High School diploma or GED
  • Class A License or willing to obtain
  • Prepare written repair orders daily
  • Some computer skills

CRITICAL PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS:

    • Two handed lifting, handling, carrying 40 lbs. from floor to overhead on a frequent basis
    • Two handed lifting, handling, carrying 100 lbs. from floor to 48" on an occasional basis
    • Sustained squatting, kneeling, stooping and bending
