Stevenson Beer Distributing, located in Trinity, is seeking Sales Merchandiser's for full or part time employment.

Merchandisers make store visits to maintain the stock and promotion of Stevenson Beer products. They assist in driving sales by checking and replenishing inventory and ensuring proper stock rotation. Merchandisers work closely with the sales team, enjoy speaking to and assisting customers, and take pride in presenting a good company image.

Duties & Responsibilities:

Manage Inventory and Stock Levels

- This role involves assisting in managing stock by communicating product movement and levels with the sales representative to ensure product levels are accurately maintained.

Proper Rotation

- Ensure that all product dates are rotated to be bought from oldest to newest.

- Beer that is the closest to code should be made first available in cold shelves and caves, followed by displays and warm shelves and then organized in back stock.

Set Up Displays

- Merchandisers regularly set up displays to promote hot items or new products.

Back stock

- Maintain an orderly back room to optimize efficiency and product visibility.

Promote Products

- Merchandisers need to be aware of the unique selling points of each promotion and check that the point of sale in the account contains updated graphics and prices.

- Implement shelf planograms and update signage shelf tags for products.

Assisting Customers

- Merchandiser’s are to assist any customers that have any questions or help them find the right product.

- Must have excellent verbal communication skills.

- Must be able to follow instructions and accept constructive criticism in order to excel.

- Must be able to execute all expectations unsupervised.

- Must be able to lift 165lb. (Kegs)

*The beginning scheduling for this position covers weekend day shifts. With possible progression into Monday through Friday based on performance.Â
