Retail Stocking Associate
JOB SUMMARY:
To provide an exceptional shopping experience for every customer by maintaining inventory levels and organizing the retail sales floor.
PRIMARY DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
The below listing of essential functions is not an inclusive listing of all duties that may be requested to be performed by supervisor or manager.
  • Stocking and arranging products neatly on shelves and racks
  • Rotating older stock to ensure it is sold first
  • Receive and process stock by unloading deliveries, ensuring accuracy and store items accordingly
  • Assist with inventory management by researching discrepancies and submitting inventory location reports.
  • Accurately count inventory and perform daily cycle counts to ensure inventory is properly verified and reflective of reported inventory
  • Collaborate with store employees, warehouse staff, and supervisors to ensure smooth operations

SECONDARY DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Assist customers by locating products, information about items and maintaining a helpful and friendly presences on the sales floor
  • Perform returns and shipping assistance as requested.

EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE:
  • Must be at least 16 years old.
  • 1-2 years of responsible retail experience preferred
  • Stocking/Merchandising experience desired (Sales Floor, Warehouse, Receiving)

KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, AND ABILITIES:
  • Self-motivated with a strong attention to detail and accuracy
  • Outgoing, friendly, positive and customer focused
  • Ability to maintain inventory systems
  • Ability to work weekdays and weekends
