Job description

The Jeff Ruhlow Agency is looking for a motivated, relationship-driven Commercial Insurance Producer to join our team in Iowa City.

This is a sales-focused opportunity for someone who enjoys connecting with business owners, developing new relationships, and helping businesses find insurance solutions that fit their needs.

Responsibilities

Build relationships with local business owners and referral partners


Identify client exposures and recommend appropriate insurance solutions


Quote, present, and close commercial PC business


Cross-sell additional products when appropriate


Maintain strong relationships with clients after the sale


Develop and manage a growing pipeline of new business opportunities

Requirements

Strong sales, communication, and relationship-building skills


Self-motivated and comfortable prospecting for new business


Professional, competitive, and goal-oriented


Ability to build long-term relationships within the Iowa City business community


Commercial insurance experience is preferred, but strong sales candidates will also be considered


Iowa Property Casualty license preferred; licensing assistance may be available for the right candidate
