Farmers Insurance District 95 is looking for a Commercial Insurance Specialist to join our team. In this unique role, you'll operate out of the district office while building your own book of business focused exclusively on commercial policies. You'll also work alongside agents across the district, helping them grow their own commercial lines. Responsibilities

What You'll Do:

  • Prospect and generate commercial leads through multiple channels including networking, referrals, local business outreach, and digital marketing.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with business owners to understand their unique commercial insurance needs and provide tailored solutions.
  • Conduct needs-based assessments and confidently present commercial coverage options across a range of industries.
  • Guide clients through the application and underwriting process, ensuring a seamless and timely experience.
  • Stay current on commercial product knowledge, industry trends, and competitor offerings.
  • Mentor and support agents throughout District 95, helping them grow their own commercial policy sales.
  • Provide outstanding customer service with proactive follow-ups to ensure client satisfaction and policy renewals.
Requirements

Qualifications:

  • Previous experience in commercial insurance sales is required.
  • Active Property Casualty (PC) license required.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills with a customer-first mindset.
  • Self-motivated with a drive to meet and exceed sales goals.
  • Ability to build trust and establish long-term relationships with business owners and fellow agents alike.
  • Comfortable operating independently while also taking on a mentorship role within the district.
