Description

GEM Financial (within Edwards Auto Group) in Council Bluffs, IA is looking for a Collections specialist/Admin Assistant. GEM Financial is a financing arm of a Buy Here Pay Here car dealership. GEM Financial provides auto loans to clients that have no credit or poor credit. This position will be a  role  multiple job duties and responsibilities. 


Hours -  Monday & Friday 8am-6pm, Tues-Thursday 8am-5pm. 1 Saturday shift per month.

$40,000 annually plus bonuses


Responsibilities

  • Taking both Inbound & Outbound calls 
  • Cashiering, taking payments in-person and over the phone
  • Making payment arrangements with customers
  • Putting together repo packets
  • Communicating and working with outside vendors
  • Other clerical duties as assigned

Requirements

  • Excellent communication skills
  • Previous collections experience is highly preferred
  • Previous experience handling payment transactions
  • Strong phone skills
