Job Description

We are currently seeking an experienced and talented Senior Data Analyst to join our close-knit team.  The position will utilize various digital data platforms to gather, analyze and report out on various projects.  Projects will include developing reports, identifying and explaining trends, finding solutions and communicating results for our premier automotive clients, internal digital teams and collaborate with the Martin Retail field organization across the U.S.

Responsibilities
  • Dig into the details of data, interpret and report on the data
  • Generates and distribute ad hoc digital reports utilizing sharp analytical skills
  • Support the Digital Team & Field Team with various requests and questions
  • Absorb information from all teams and clients to be a well-rounded communicator to steward projects and communicate status updates
  • Creates basic visuals and dashboards in PowerBI and Tableau
  • Export dashboards, combines them by market into PowerPoints
  • Breaks out monthly insights by market, ensures vendor has delivered all markets
  • Assists reporting team with QA and other daily tasks responding to client needs timely
  • Distributes and uploads monthly reporting upon completion
Qualifications

Education we're seeking:

  • Four-year degree in the area of Computer Science, Data Science or a similar discipline (with a focus in Advertising, Marketing preferred)

Skills and abilities we're seeking: 

  • Prefer five+ years background in data collection, analysis, and reporting
  • Sharp and reliable analytical skills loving to dig into data, interpret it and report findings
  • Intermediate or above Excel knowledge is a must and the most successful candidate will be one who enjoys spending much of their day working in Excel
    • Familiarity with VLOOKUP, INDEX, nested statements, Pivot Tables and Pivot Charts, etc.
    • PowerPivot experience is even better
  • Experience with Power BI
  • Experience in Power Query and SQL preferred
  • Working knowledge of PowerPoint needed
  • Knowledge of DAX
  • Ability to effectively create dashboard layouts
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment in which to thrive
  • Success with prioritizing tasks and meeting deadlines
  • Strong communication skills and desire to work in a team atmosphere
  • Familiarity with digital advertising and its KPIs

 Compensation Range: USD $40,280.00 - USD $48,355.00/Annually. This is the pay range the Company believes it will pay for this position at the time of this posting. Consistent with applicable law, compensation will be determined based on the skills, qualifications, and experience of the applicant along with the requirements of the position, and the Company reserves the right to modify this pay range at any time. Temporary roles may be eligible to participate in our freelancer/temporary employee medical plan through a third-party benefits administration system once certain criteria have been met. Temporary roles may also qualify for participation in our 401(k) plan after eligibility criteria have been met.
