Job description

Cobra Concrete Cutting Services is currently hiring Delivery Driver / Shop Assistant to join our team in Wheeling, IL. Cobra will train qualified applicants, this is your chance to work for a growing company.

Cobra Concrete Cutting Services Co. is the leading provider of concrete sawing and drilling services in the Midwest. With offices serving Illinois, Wisconsin, Indiana, Missouri, Iowa, and Michigan, we pride ourselves on our commitment to complete client satisfaction and safety, and we have the reputation and track record to prove it.

Essential Skills, Knowledge, and Abilities:

  • Operate and maintain company van & tools
  • Report to shop in a timely manner - Able to lift & move 100 lbs or more
  • Willing to work hard, safety oriented & team player
  • Ability to work out-of-town, occasionally
  • Comply with all safety requirements
  • Willing to work in weather conditions that may be adverse (hot/cold/rain)
  • Ability to tow trailers
  • 40-60 Hours a week (OT available)

Requirements:

  • Must possess a valid driver's license and have a good driving history, CDL is a plus
  • Pass a required pre-employment drug screen & random testing
  • Pass a pre-employment background record (7 years) & periodical checks
  • Ability to work days/nights/weekends
  • Must be authorized to work in the US - Required to adhere to all safety rules and regulations
  • Must have reliable transportation
  • Must have steel-toe leather work boots
