Job description

Evening Area Manager - Commercial Cleaning/Building Services

Summit Building Services is looking for an experienced area manager in Bedford, Brecksville, Solon, Maple Heights, Warrensville Heights, Chagrin Falls, and the surrounding areas. You'd be working five days weekly from 4pm-12:30am. Weekend availability is required. Starting salary range is $50,000-$65,000. This position is eligible for PTO, health insurance reimbursement, mileage reimbursement, and bonus opportunities.

You must have reliable transportation to get to and from work and be able to pass drug test and background check.

Job Duties Include:

  1. Work with employees to handle all client requests or complaints in a timely manner
  2. Supervise, train, motivate, and develop team members
  3. Work with HR to ensure all jobs are properly staffed and trained
  4. Arrange for coverage in the event of an employee absence
  5. Disciplinary action and/ or termination of employees when necessary
  6. Perform regular inspections of buildings to ensure that specifications are being met
  7. Correct deficiencies in buildings whenever necessary
  8. Complete work tickets
  9. Send daily reports to Operations Manager
  10. Recommendation of special project work when needed
  11. Order, track and maintain supply inventory. Deliver supplies upon employee request
  12. Complete ongoing education to gain competency in their position
  13. Carry out supervisory responsibilities in accordance with the company’s policies and applicable laws.
