The Program Manager, Clinical Strategy is a key contributor within Gallagher’s Clinical Strategy and Innovation Team, which drives forward-thinking solutions to improve employee health outcomes and reduce total healthcare costs for large employers. This role combines healthcare expertise with program management and consulting skills to coordinate the design, implementation, and measurement of innovative clinical programs.

The Program Manager collaborates closely with consultants, data analysts, and vendor partners to ensure seamless execution of clinical strategies, pilots, and frameworks. Success in this role requires a solid foundation in healthcare concepts, strong program management capabilities, and the ability to transform complex data into clear, actionable insights that enable internal teams and deliver measurable value to clients.


How you'll make an impact

Program Development and Management:

  • Design and implement clinical innovation programs, ensuring timelines, deliverables, and quality standards are met.
  • Identify and integrate emerging technologies and evidence-based practices to enhance program design and impact.
  • Monitor program performance and outcomes, ensuring alignment with client goals and Gallagher’s strategic objectives.
  • Document best practices and lessons learned to enable scalability of programs.

Client Engagement and Consultation:

  • Serve as a subject matter expert in clinical strategy and innovation, providing guidance and recommendations to clients on effective healthcare strategies.
  • Partner with clients to identify opportunities for improving employee health and reducing healthcare costs through innovative solutions.
  • Support RFI and RFP processes and vendor evaluations for healthcare solutions.
  • Deliver presentations and reports to internal stakeholders and clients, showcasing program results and insights.

Data Analysis and Reporting:

  • Utilize data analytics to assess program effectiveness, identify trends, and inform decision-making.
  • Develop metrics and KPIs to measure the impact of clinical innovation programs on employee health outcomes.
  • Prepare detailed reports and dashboards for internal stakeholders and clients.

Partnership and Collaboration:

  • Collaborate with internal teams to integrate clinical programs into Gallagher’s broader organizational strategies.
  • Build and maintain relationships with healthcare providers, third-party vendors, and other strategic partners to support program development and execution.
  • Stay informed about emerging trends and advancements in healthcare innovation, summarizing implications for employer-sponsored benefits and ensuring Gallagher remains at the forefront of industry developments.

About You

Required:

  • Bachelor’s degree in healthcare management, public health, business administration, or a related field.
  • Minimum of 2 years of experience in healthcare program management, clinical innovation, employer benefits, or a related field.
  • Familiarity with health and pharmacy claims data and population health concepts.
  • Proven track record of designing and implementing successful clinical programs.
  • Experience working with data analytics tools and healthcare technologies.
  • Strong organizational and communication skills, with ability to manage multiple priorities.
Preferred:
  • Advanced degree (MBA, MPH, MHA, or equivalent).
  • PMP or similar project management certification.
  • Experience supporting program implementation in a consulting or corporate environment.
  • Exposure to vendor evaluation or RFP processes.
  • Basic understanding of analytics tools (Excel, Tableau, Power BI).
