POSITION RESPONSIBILITIES
- Recruitment of participants into study utilizing both Spanish and English skills
- Administer consent forms and questionnaires
- Maintain data base of information such as enrollment, participants interview etc
- Assist PI in generating reports from the study
- Assist with community outreach
- Schedule appointments and make appointment reminder calls
- Must be organized, a good speaker and attentive listener; computer literate, assist with data entry and reports; capable of walking, standing and climbing stairs; knowledgeable of the Bronx neighborhoods and mass transportation.
- Flexibility in hours and days: Must be flexible with work schedule (including weekdays, evenings and weekends)
- Perform other related duties as assigned.
This role requires you to be in the office-you will not be able to work remotely.
QUALIFICATIONS
- High School Graduate plus 6 months - 1 year of clerical experience required.
- Experience in working with families and children is preferred
Skills and Competencies
- Must be able to communicate well with others.
- Bilingual in Spanish and English.
- Must possess knowledge of Microsoft Word, Outlook. May use other web-based programs as assigned;
- Must possess strong customer service, communication and organizational skills
