Job description

POSITION RESPONSIBILITIES
  • Recruitment of participants into study utilizing both Spanish and English skills
  • Administer consent forms and questionnaires
  • Maintain data base of information such as enrollment, participants interview etc
  • Assist PI in generating reports from the study
  • Assist with community outreach
  • Schedule appointments and make appointment reminder calls
  • Must be organized, a good speaker and attentive listener; computer literate, assist with data entry and reports; capable of walking, standing and climbing stairs; knowledgeable of the Bronx neighborhoods and mass transportation.
  • Flexibility in hours and days: Must be flexible with work schedule (including weekdays, evenings and weekends)
  • Perform other related duties as assigned.

This role requires you to be in the office-you will not be able to work remotely.

QUALIFICATIONS
  • High School Graduate plus 6 months - 1 year of clerical experience required.
  • Experience in working with families and children is preferred

Skills and Competencies

  • Must be able to communicate well with others.
  • Bilingual in Spanish and English.
  • Must possess knowledge of Microsoft Word, Outlook. May use other web-based programs as assigned;

The Department of Epidemiology at Albert Einstein College of Medicine is seeking a clinical interviewer to support the DISCOVERY, a multicenter study funded by NIDDK to study the pathophysiology of youth onset type two diabetes.
