What is a client intake specialist?

A Client Intake Specialist is a professional responsible for managing the initial interaction between a company and its prospective clients. Their role typically includes gathering essential information, assessing client needs, and ensuring all necessary documentation is completed accurately. They often work in healthcare, legal, or social services environments and serve as the first point of contact for clients. By efficiently handling the intake process, they help streamline services and ensure clients are directed to the appropriate resources.

What does a client intake specialist do?

A typical day in Client Intake involves gathering and verifying client information, conducting initial screenings, and ensuring all necessary documentation is complete and accurate. Committing your time and talent is no small matter-at Venable, we know that superior client service begins with an investment in our people. Venable's benefits package includes medical, dental, vision, disability, life insurance, flexible spending and healthcare savings accounts, 401(k) with firm profit share, paid time off, firm paid holidays, wellness and personal advocacy programs, family planning resources and leave programs, tuition reimbursement, and more.
