Due to continued growth, we're seeking an experienced and ambitious Business Development Manager to grow Atrium's Tampa Bay portfolio to the next level.


About the Role

The Business Development Manager will be responsible for identifying and pursuing new business opportunities, building and maintaining relationships with clients and partners, and developing strategies to expand our client base. The main focus will be expanding the single-family and boutique housing property management market in Polk, Pasco, Pinellas, Hillsborough, and Manatee counties.


SALARY: 

$40,000 (base) + uncapped commission

**The annual on-target earnings for this position is $70,000 - $100,000 plus**


SCHEDULE: 

Full Time, Monday thru Friday 8:30am - 5:30pm. Flexible schedule required.


LOCATION: 

Atrium Management Company Headquarters, 201 S Bumby Ave. Orlando, FL 32803. 

*Note, this role is also available to be based out of one of the following Atrium Offices (with requirement to travel to Atrium's Orlando office for trainings, meetings, and events)

Key Responsibilities:

Portfolio Growth: 

  • Meet and prospect owners of rental properties to highlight the benefits of partnering with Atrium Management Company
  • Prepare proposals for new business opportunities or contracts with existing clients.
  • Develop and maintain relationships with clients to increase future business opportunities.
  • Following up on new business opportunities, setting up meetings, planning, preparing, and giving presentations
  • Create client proposals based on product information provided by marketing staff members.
  • Qualify leads by working closely with key stakeholders and presenting our company via phone calls, in-person meetings, and emails

Operational Excellence: 

  • Keep track of all communications with clients, such as emails, phone calls, letters, and faxes.
  • Review proposals from clients for possible problems or conflicts with company policies.
  • Maintain good relationships with the internal and external operation teams. Helping them be successful with each detail of your projects when needed.
  • Help manage accounts receivable, including sending billing notices, collecting payments from clients.
  • Responsible for maintaining and presenting leads and opportunities to the company partners on a regular basis.

Marketing and Research: 

  • Identify potential customers through research and networking activities, then contacting them to set up meetings or presentations.
  • Maintain a professional personal presence on social media platforms.
  • Research market trends to identify opportunities for new products or services that might appeal to specific clients.
  • Develop relationships with local realtors, brokers, property owners, developers, etc., to target specific verticals
  • Organizing and attending real estate networking events to develop relationships with realtors


Requirements:

  • Florida Real Estate License (required)
  • Minimum 3 - 5 years of experience or combination of education
  • Reliable transportation and valid Florida Driver License

  • Proven track record of success in sales or business development, preferably within the property management industry

  • Dedication to understanding and meeting the unique needs of clients, ensuring high levels of customer satisfaction
