Job description

Description:

The Client Associate is a professional who provides support to the Financial Services Division. The individual in this position will provide client service, assist with marketing initiatives, and be knowledgeable and proficient with related computer software. The Client Associate provides operational assistance through account processing and monitoring, practice management (organizes Financial Services team logistics, maintains contact management information systems, and complies with firm policies and industry standards) and special projects. As a representative of the organization, the Client Associate aligns personally with the organization’s values as reflected in the LD&B BLUEprint and models these values daily.


Essential Duties & Responsibilities

  • Provide support for the Financial Services Division by assisting with client account opening, onboarding, and service.
  • Collaborate with the marketing department to develop division specific materials.
  • Review and maintain operating processes to ensure efficient workflows while adhering to firm policies and industry standards.
  • Perform detailed data entry, generate reports and output data for various purposes, and maintain proficiency and mastery across all financial services platforms.
  • Cultivate professional relationships with clients by providing high-quality client experience.
  • Demonstrate regular and reliable attendance.
  • Maintain a strong work ethic with a total commitment to success and consistently demonstrate our BLUEprint values every day.
  • Other duties as assigned by management.


Requirements:

Education, Requirements, Qualifications & Skills

  • High school diploma or equivalent required. Additional college courses and/or office environment experience preferred.
  • Ability to obtain current appropriate licenses, certifications, or credentials necessary and applicable to the division, including maintenance of same.
  • Adherence to compliance requirements of the regulatory bodies, broker-dealer and firm for non-registered persons.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to effectively engage with clients and provide exceptional service.
  • Strong organizational and time management skills to handle multiple tasks and prioritize effectively.
  • Must be a self-starter and capable of completing tasks with little or no supervision.
  • Knowledge of insurance regulations and compliance requirements.
  • Ability to understand and adhere to all requirements related to information security, privacy and confidentiality always.

Physical Requirements

  • Must be physically able to work a minimum of 38 hours per week in the office.
  • Must be able to sit for long periods of time, which may include extensive use of personal computers and associated software.
  • Must possess the ability to hear, see, and speak.
  • Must be able to stand, sit, walk, use repetitive small motor activity, use hands and fingers, and reach with hands and arms, stoop, and kneel.
  • Occasionally required to lift and carry up to 20 pounds.
  • Perform with a high-energy level and ability to handle stress-related situations daily.
  • Must have a valid state issued driver’s license and have the ability to operate a vehicle.
  • Must be able to drive and travel unaccompanied in diverse weather conditions.
