Overview

Position Type Maricopa Ambulance Category Customer Service

Description

The Client Services Specialist helps maintain and develop existing business with current clients, assists in bringing new clients on board, and acts as a liaison between partner organizations and Maricopa Ambulance. The Client Services Specialist will pursue new business opportunities through cultivation of work-related and interpersonal relationships, and help clients better understand the full potential of services offered while enhancing customer satisfaction.

Specific Duties
  • Build and maintain relationships with clients and key personnel within customer companies.
  • Develop open and effective channels of communication with each client.
  • Become the reliable point of contact for each customer, to establish strong business relationships with all clients.
  • Attend meetings with clients and provide regular updates.
  • Conduct business reviews to ensure clients are satisfied with the services received.
  • Monitor company performance against service level agreements and flag potential issues.
  • Escalate and resolve areas of concern as raised by clients.
  • Maintain positive working relationships with Maricopa Ambulance employees.
  • Carry out all duties in conformance with Maricopa Ambulance policy.
  • Perform other associated responsibilities and projects as assigned.

Reports To:

The Client Services Specialist works under the general guidance and direction of the Director of Marketing & Business Development.

Qualifications Specific Requirements
  • Possess a current, valid Arizona driver's license.
  • Maintain a good driving record.
  • Strong interpersonal skills and an ability to build rapport with customers.
  • Previous relationship management experience and an organized approach to work.
  • Previous experience working as a client relationship manager or a track record of managing client relationships.
  • Dedicated loyalty to healthcare services and/or emergency medical services.
  • Experience in relationship building, negotiation, and conflict resolution.
  • Strong communication skills with all internal and external entities.
  • Proven ability to prioritize workload effectively and efficiently.
  • Communicate clearly, both verbally and in writing.

Education and Experience:

  • EMS experience and knowledge are preferred.
  • A college degree is preferred.
  • Any combination of experience and training that would likely provide the required knowledge and ability is desirable.
