Requirements

What You'll Do

  • Serve as a key leader within Legacy Coffee by supporting the Coffee Shop Manager in both daily operations and team development
  • Become fully cross-trained in management responsibilities to confidently oversee the shop when the manager is unavailableย 
  • Lead by example behind the bar creating an exceptional customer experience, supporting baristas and helping maintain the culture and mission of Legacy Coffeeย 
  • Serve as a spiritual leader and mentor, particularly for the women on the team, helping cultivate an environment that reflects the values of Long Hollow Church
  • Assist with onboarding and training new team members
  • Coach baristas on cleaning standards, workflow efficiency, hospitality, and professionalism
  • Help resolve team concerns and communicate effectively with the Coffee Shop Manager
  • Assist with scheduling, inventory management, ordering, and operational planning as needed
  • Ensure all opening, closing, and daily operational procedures are completed properly
  • Help maintain shop cleanliness, organization, and operational excellence
  • Assist with tracking expenses and maintaining accurate records
  • Help organize receipts, invoices, and financial documentation
  • Support the Manager with bill management and budget-related tasks
  • Monitor product usage and identify opportunities for cost savings and efficiency
  • Lead from the front by regularly working behind the bar and interacting with guests
  • Create a welcoming and hospitable environment for church attendees and community members
  • Address customer concerns professionally and graciously
  • Ensure every guest receives excellent service that reflects Christian hospitality
