Job Summary: The Assistant Manager supports the Restaurant General Manager by overseeing daily restaurant operations, team performance, and administrative responsibilities. Job Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Assist the Restaurant Manager in supervising day-to-day restaurant operations
  • Support recruiting, hiring, onboarding, training, and development of team members
  • Assist with scheduling to ensure proper staffing and labor control
  • Lead and support the team during high-volume periods
  • Ensure consistent delivery of high-quality food and exceptional guest service
  • Maintain accurate inventory records and assist with product ordering
  • Assist with paperwork, banking, and administrative duties in a timely manner
  • Monitor and enforce compliance with company policies, procedures, and operational standards
  • Ensure compliance with all federal, state, and local laws and regulations
  • Maintain a clean, safe, and organized restaurant environment
  • Assist in reviewing profit and loss statements and meeting sales and profitability goals
  • Coach, counsel, and motivate team members to improve performance and guest satisfaction
  • Address guest concerns and resolve issues related to food quality or service
  • Promote a positive, respectful, and productive work environment
  • Perform other duties as assigned

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:

An ideal candidate will have experience with or understanding of:

  • Knowledge of food safety, sanitation, and restaurant operations.

Education and Experience:

An ideal candidate will have the following education and experience:

  • Previous retail, food service, or customer service experience.
  • On-the-job training is provided for all new team members.

Working environment and physical requirements:

  • Must be 18 years or older to apply
  • Must be able to stand during the entire work shift.
  • Must be able to work in a cooler at a temperature of 35 degrees for up to 30 minutes.
  • Must be able to lift 50 lbs.
  • Must be able to tolerate gas fumes and cleaning products.
  • Must be able to climb a ladder to clean windows.

Travel: Must be able to travel up to 10%
