As a Business Development Officer you will work to help deepen relationships with centers of influence and identify new clients in need of our customized wealth and investment management solutions.

The Business Development Officer position provides a base salary with an uncapped commission structure. We also offer a complete line of benefits including pet insurance and identity protection coverage. In addition, we also offer a very generous 401k and profit-sharing plan.

A DAY IN THE LIFE OF A BUSINESS DEVELOPMENT OFFICER:

  • Establish, maintain, and improve the relationships between our company, our clients, and our centers of influence.
  • Participate in industry networking forums and other professional associations.
  • Develop an in-depth understanding of the services we provide to become an advocate for the needs of clients and prospects.
  • Prepare and present proposals to current and future clients.
  • Relationship building to include analyzing and providing the necessary services that are the right fit for our clients.
  • Establish client development communication plans
  • Participation in continuing education through internal and external training to stay current in investments, trusts, estate planning, and retirement planning.
  • Willingness to volunteer and support the local community
  • Maintain current regulatory and compliance knowledge

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in finance or related field
  • 3-5 years of experience in sales, required
  • 2-3 years financial/investment experience, preferred
  • Proven track record of new business development
  • A high touch, client focused approach
  • Advanced interpersonal skills, professional demeanor, integrity, and goal-orientated with an entrepreneurial spirit
  • Excellent written and oral communication/presentation skills.
  • The ability to work in a team environment alongside highly credentialed staff.

This position requires excellent communication and interpersonal skills which include: relationship development, listening, oral and written communication, decision making, organizing, executing and implementing plans, team building and work coordination.

WORK SCHEDULE

This is a full-time hybrid position working Monday-Friday, 8am-5pm.
