Job description

As a Revenue Cycle Architect in our federal space you will lead revenue cycle integration, workflow and technical design across all revenue cycle solutions and venues. You will influence workflow and technical decisions, articulating operational and financial impacts to client and Company project teams. This role will allow you to participate in executive level client discussions regarding revenue cycle expectations and opportunities for improvement. In scope will be to manage and resolve project escalations as point of contact for revenue cycle leadership as well as lead clinically driven revenue cycle (CDRC) conversations across venues. You will consult with CIO, CFO, and revenue cycle leadership to define financial metrics, key performance indicators and reporting prior to conversion. Finally, you will participate in legacy accounts receivable planning conversations and decisions as well as contribute to continuous process improvement opportunities within the Revenue Cycle Architect community.


Basic Qualifications:

  • At least 6 years of total combined higher education and related work experience including:
    • At least 1 year of health care information technology consulting (HCIT), HCIT support and/or client-facing or HCIT solution work experience
    • At least 5 years of completed higher education and/or additional work experience directly related to the duties of the job
  • Receipt of the appropriate government security clearance card applicable for your position
  • Due to the client contract you will be assigned, this position requires you to be a U.S. citizen
 
Preferred Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree
  • Certified Healthcare Financial Professional (CHFP) - Healthcare Financial Management Association
  • Certified Revenue Cycle Representative (CRCR) - Healthcare Financial Management Association
  • Certified Revenue Cycle Professional (CRCP) - American Association of Healthcare Administrative Management
 
Expectations:
  • Must reside in or be willing to relocate to an already virtually approved location; preferred location Kansas City
  • Must be willing to travel up to 80% as needed
  • Willing to work additional or irregular hours as needed and allowed by local regulations
  • Work in accordance with corporate and organizational security policies and procedures, understand personal role in safeguarding corporate and client assets, and take appropriate action to prevent and report any compromises of security within scope of position
  • Perform other responsibilities as assigned
