UNM Parking & TransportationServices (PATS) is dedicated to creating a welcoming and accessible campusexperience for students, faculty, staff, and visitors. We are seeking afull-time, benefits-eligible Parking Services Representative to join our businessoffice team. This is an excellent opportunity for someone who thrives in afast-paced, customer-focused environment and takes pride in deliveringhigh-quality service. The ideal candidate will bring at least three years ofcustomer service experience, including working with a computer-basedpoint-of-sale (POS) system, along with strong communication skills andattention to detail.
In this role, you will serve as akey point of contact for customers, assisting in person, over the phone, andthrough email or chat. You will play an important part in ensuring smooth dailyoperations by accurately processing transactions, resolving customer concerns,and applying established policies and procedures. Success in this positionrequires the ability to multitask, adapt quickly, and maintain professionalismwhile supporting a positive customer experience.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide excellent customer service in person, by phone, and through written communication (email and chat)
  • Process a variety of transactions using a computer-based point-of-sale (POS) system
  • Respond to customer inquiries and resolve issues efficiently and professionally
  • Apply and interpret standard operating procedures, policies, and guidelines accurately
  • Maintain accuracy and attention to detail in a high-volume, fast-paced environment
  • Learn and utilize multiple parking and transportation-related systems
  • Collaborate with team members to support daily operations and ensure service continuity
  • Perform general administrative and customer support functions as needed

This position follows a Mondaythrough Friday schedule between 7:00 a.m. and 5:30 p.m., with occasionalevening and weekend shifts based on operational needs. PATS offers acollaborative environment that values teamwork, professional development, andservice excellence.
