Position Summary
The Resident Care Coordinator (RCC) is responsible for supporting the daily operations of resident care services while helping ensure quality care, resident satisfaction, regulatory compliance, and strong team performance within the Assisted Living community.
This role partners closely with the Health & Wellness Director (HWD) to oversee frontline caregiving teams through scheduling, coaching, training, support, and operational coordination.
The RCC plays a key role in promoting Charter Senior Living's mission, core values, and resident-centered care philosophy while helping create a positive environment for residents, families, and associates.
The ideal candidate is compassionate, organized, dependable, and passionate about leading caregiving teams while enhancing resident quality of life.
Responsibilities
  • Support the daily operations of resident care services within the community
  • Assist with scheduling, supervision, and support of caregiving staff
  • Monitor quality of care and resident wellbeing
  • Support onboarding, coaching, and performance development of care associates
  • Partner with the Health & Wellness Director to maintain compliance with community policies and state regulations
  • Communicate resident needs and condition changes appropriately
  • Assist with care coordination and implementation of resident care plans
  • Promote resident dignity, independence, and quality of life
  • Build positive relationships with residents, families, and team members
  • Help foster a positive, team-oriented, and resident-focused culture

Qualifications
  • Previous assisted living, memory care, caregiving leadership, or senior living experience preferred
  • Medication Technician, LPN, or related healthcare experience preferred depending on state requirements
  • Leadership or supervisory experience preferred
  • Strong organizational, communication, and multitasking skills
  • Compassionate and resident-centered approach to care
  • Ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced environment
  • Strong problem-solving and team-building abilities
  • Knowledge of senior living regulations and resident care practices preferred
