Are you organized, detail-oriented, and passionate about supporting quality patient care? Taylor Regional Hospital is looking for a Chart Analyst to welcome into our Medical Records team!
Join Taylor Regional Hospital and help us uphold our vision of being the preferred healthcare provider, dedicated to enhancing the quality of life in our community.
Position: 🗃 Chart Analyst 🗃
Location: Medical Records- Taylor Regional Hospital, Kentucky
Schedule: Full time- Monday- Friday 8:00am-4:30pm
What You'll Do:
◉ Retrieve and assemble inpatient and outpatient medical records daily according to department policies and procedures.
◉ Perform quantitative and qualitative analysis of medical records to ensure accuracy and completeness.
◉ Communicate promptly with hospital departments regarding records not received within 24 hours of patient discharge.
◉ Maintain the chart tracking system in accordance with departmental standards, medical staff bylaws, and regulatory requirements.
◉ Assist medical staff with interpretation of deficiency listing.
◉ Collaborate with hospital departments to ensure the smooth flow of medical record information.
◉ Maintain strict HIPAA compliance and patient confidentiality.
◉ Process requests for medical records from other healthcare entities.
◉ Perform a variety of additional clerical and administrative duties as assigned.
